sorry i've been MIA Hawaii was hectic, such a crazy fun holiday, now i've set up my apartment and just taking a couple days downtime before i head to LA for the weekend before class starts :) Hopefully these pics make up for my absence!

I'm going to miss all the rest of Australia's next top model, well i'm recording it with IQ but watching it in January will be slightly delayed. I really hope Amanda or Kelsey win, I loved Jo, was so shocked when she got eliminated but then looking back at all the photo shoots i actually didn't love her shots. I love all the pics of Amanda though and Kelsey is also pretty great!

California Here I Come:

 Tomorrow i'm leaving on a big jet plane for LA, via hawaii for four days, yay!

I'm so incredibly excited, doubt i'll get much sleep tonight! Am all packed, finally and have my plane neccessities packed into my clear bag, i'm seriously set,  moisturizer, face spray, 8hr cream, aromatic spray, natural sleeping tablets, minimal makeup, face mask, eye mask, perfume...

Seriously looking forward to stocking up on mags and to the following adventures :)

MSFW shift three: RMIT Dangerous Goods

Saturday night i worked backstage on The RMIT dangerous goods show. The design were so interesting and many of them really innovative! So much attention to detail meant the spec sheets were covered with complicated instructions on how each piece should be worn making dressing a little bit trickier. My model was Emily G and some of her outfits are posted below. My favourite outfit of hers was the first one in the first show which i haven't found a picture of but will be sure to post if i do.

The look below, with the light up snake was a part of a collection which seemed very avatar inspired, using coloured bauble and lights, which i'm sure would have looked amazing, under the lights of the runway.

I also really liked these pieces using silk and the blue neoprene outfits.

If you took away the tube part the bodysuit underneath was a little bit awesome.

i actually came across this blog doing a simple google search on ombre hair and her diy tutorial (which you can watch below) came up. I'm so happy it did because she is awesome, if you watch her vids you can see she seems really nice.

Reasons Lily is my new girl crush:

1. i love her style, she mixes high and low fashion/prints and volumes excellently and her style is completely accessible for the average girl. Most of the things she wears seem to be ASOS, New look and Topshop.

2. love her makeup, it's pretty, natural and glowing, absolutely the way i aim to look, she also does a perfect winged eye, daily.

3. love her voice, its kinda soothing and very warm.

4. love that she has, in the last year, lost 20lbs (9kgs) by eating healthily and going to the gym, something to be proud of!

5. she's just fucking gorgeous to be honest.
